What i thought of the cover: The title is defiantly an eye catcher with it’s unique font as well as I love the colour purple and it’s metallic. The shadowy metallic trees give it a sense of mystery and darkness. It’s quite a nice design, simple yet detailed.

I give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars

What i thought of the story: The only other story I can think of where I have read from the males point of view is Breaking Dawn and that was about three years ago, however I found that this was written just as well as any book from a females point view. I loved how there is different elements of magic, form Ammas way to the caster way which makes it much more enchanting. At times though It can feel as if Lena is a bit to much doom and gloom and is ready too easily to give up. Overall there was a good balance between good and evil in both magic and normal situations and defiantly loads of unexpected events take place eventually tying together for a dramatic finish.

I give it a 4 out of 5 stars

Now to see what happens in the second book.
